How it works

Log it before you lose it.

Kwotebook turns tiny moments into a library of the people, places, and phases that made them memorable.

01

Create a Kwotebook

Start a themed book for your college roommates, family sayings, a trip, a person, or one recurring bit that refuses to die.

02

Log the moment

Save the quote, who said it, the date, the vibe, and the book it belongs to. Drafts help you keep unfinished quotes from slipping away.

03

Find it later

Search across quote text, people, vibes, and tags so your funniest receipts become an actual memory archive.

04

Share the lore

Turn quotes into designed visual cards, including Standard, Polaroid, Cinema, and Typewriter layouts.

Features

A digital scrapbook for language.

Kwotebook is built around the social texture of memory: who said it, where it belongs, what it felt like, and why it still makes you laugh.

Books, not folders

Collect quotes in covers that feel like journals, scrapbooks, and time capsules instead of sterile notes.

Searchable memory

Search by quote, author, vibe, and tags. Browse people, top tags, and recent quotes without needing the exact words.

Vibes and typography

Use built-in vibes like funny, weird, chaotic, and legendary, or create your own labels and font styles.

Designed share cards

Export a quote as a polished image for texts, group chats, stories, or anywhere your friends will understand the context.

Friend layer

Add friends, manage requests, and prepare books for shared memory. Collaborative books are part of the product direction and continue to evolve.

Recaps and wrapped

Monthly Recap and Annual Wrapped are designed memory surfaces for looking back at your quote activity as the analytics layer grows.

Share cards

Quotes deserve good typography.

Make the group chat evidence look intentional. Pick a layout, render the quote, and share it as an image.

Standard

Put that in the lore archive.

clean, simple, free

Start here for common questions about books, quotes, friends, premium, ads, privacy, and account requests.

appsbykap@gmail.com
How do I create a Kwotebook?

Open the Home tab, choose New Book, name it, pick a cover, and optionally invite friends by username. Books can be used for friend groups, trips, people, families, or recurring bits.

How do I log a quote?

Tap the quote entry action, add the quote text, who said it, date, vibe, and destination book. If you are not ready to finish, save it as a draft and reopen it later.

Can I add friends?

Yes. Kwotebook supports friend search by username, incoming requests, accepting or declining requests, and active friend lists. Contacts can be used locally for matching without being stored on servers.

Can friends collaborate on books?

Collaboration is part of the product direction and the app includes collaborator invitation surfaces. Availability may depend on backend policy and production configuration.

How do share cards work?

Pick a quote, choose a layout such as Standard, Polaroid, Cinema, or Typewriter, and Kwotebook renders a polished image you can share through the native iOS share sheet.

How do optional ads work?

Ads are opt-in and user-triggered. They can unlock or contribute toward extras like share card layouts, font packs, recap access, streak shields, and extra book slots.

How do I delete a book?

Open the book settings and choose the delete option. Deleting a book removes that book from your library, so review the contents before confirming.

How do I delete my account or data?

Delete individual quotes or books in the app, or permanently delete your account through Profile > Delete Account. For an access, export, correction, or deletion request, email appsbykap@gmail.com.

The best quotes do not come from books. They come from your life.

Kwotebook is the place where the things people actually say get preserved. Every group has a legend. Every friendship has lore. Every era has lines that deserve more than a forgotten screenshot or a note buried under grocery lists.

This is for the friend who remembers everything, the person who screenshots the group chat, the roommate who says “wait, write that down,” and anyone who believes a joke can become a time capsule.

Privacy

A memory app should feel trustworthy.

Kwotebook is personal by nature, so the trust model is simple: no precise-location collection, no payment-card data stored directly by Kwotebook, HTTPS transport, privacy-first contact handling, and clear disclosures for Google Sign-In and non-personalized ads.

Your quotes are yours

Content becomes visible to others only when you deliberately share it or invite someone into a book.

No selling personal data

Kwotebook does not sell personal data and does not use behavioral ad tracking.

Contacts stay local

Contacts may be read locally for friend matching, but are not stored on Kwotebook servers.

Premium removes ads

Rewarded ads are optional and user-triggered. Premium is designed to be the quieter experience.
